Leading Change with Style: Women & Entrepreneurship Brunch Recap

Leading Change with Style

We hosted our inaugural event Leading Change with Style: Women & Entrepreneurship Brunch at the Skybox Event Center located in the heart of Philadelphia.

At The Front Office Daily, we created this signature event to deliver an experience where young, black and ambitious women could be inspired by the very women who they aspire to be.

Did you know that Black women are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the U.S.? The panel featured some of the most successful Black entrepreneurs leading change in entertainment, fashion, marketing, and the food industry. The prestigious panel featured Claire Sulmers, Founder of the Fashion Bomb Daily, stylist and jewelry designer Crystal Streets, Marilyn Van Alstyne of EMVE Management Group, Yolanda Keels-Walker of the Business Babes, and Danielle Dawkins-Alston, McDonald’s Owner/Operator in the Philadelphia Area. Mina Say What of Power 99, acted as our vibrant moderator and she also shared her own personal struggles of entrepreneurship

Panelist shared their personal journeys before they jumped in to offer advice to over 150 women in attendance on how to best handle finances, the importance of writing and setting goals to balancing family and friends. The overall theme of the panel discussion was to never give up on your dreams and to believe in yourself!

Check out some of the best quotes. Get ready to be inspired!
