NCAA Women’s Final Four: Beyond the Baseline Recap

The NCAA in collaboration with EBONY Magazine and the Dallas Sports Commission hosted Beyond the Baseline, a networking event held in conjunction with the NCAA Women’s Final Four to engage former women’s basketball players, coaches and business women through professional development, social events and of course attendance to the national championship! The TFO team was right there in the midst of all the #BlackGirlMagic.

The brunch was held at the beautiful Lorenzo Hotel in downtown Dallas. The panel featured Former NCAA and WNBA Champion Fran Harris, NCAA Vice President Anucha Browne, DeDe McGuire host of DeDe in the Morning K104 and Olympic Gold Medalist Seimone Augustus. The discussion was moderated by Kathy Chaney, Managing Editor of EBONY Magazine.

The theme of the discussion was Brand Your Game Plan. These ladies shared the brilliance of their journey’s through the fields of sports and entertainment and how their personal brands have assisted in building their marketability. The audience was engaged and captivated by the trials and triumphs of these phenomenal women.

Attendees had the opportunities to engage with the panelist, gather guidance from best practices and meet women professionals while sipping mimosas. What more could you ask for in a networking event!
